Lesson: John 16:10 (Ages 3-5)
📖 John 16:10 – Ages 3-5
Explanation
This Bible verse is like a story about Jesus going to be with His Father in heaven. When Jesus says He is going to the Father, He is talking about going up to heaven to be with God.
Now, when Jesus goes to the Father, it means He is showing us what is right and good. It's like when a big brother goes ahead to show his little sister the right way to go. Jesus going to the Father helps us know how to be good and do the right things.
So, when Jesus says we won't see Him anymore, it doesn't mean He's far away. It means we can't see Him with our eyes like we see each other. But we can still feel His love in our hearts and see Him in the good things we do for others.
Remember, Jesus going to the Father is like a special way of showing us how to be kind and loving, just like He is. Even though we can't see Him, He is always with us, helping us be good and do what is right.
Kid's Story
Once upon a time, in a happy forest, there was a little squirrel named Sammy. Sammy loved to play and explore, but one day he got lost deep in the woods. He felt scared and alone, but then he remembered the wise owl's words: "Just as the sun always rises after the darkest night, Jesus will always be with us, even if we can't see Him."
Sammy took a deep breath and closed his eyes, whispering a prayer to Jesus to help him find his way back home. Suddenly, a gentle light surrounded him, guiding him safely back to his family. Sammy realized that even though he couldn't see Jesus, he could always feel His love and guidance in his heart.
And just like Sammy, we can trust that Jesus is always with us, even when we can't see Him, watching over us with love and care.
