Lesson: John 10:42 (Ages 6-8)

📖 John 10:42 – Ages 6-8

Explanation

In this verse, "And many believed in Him there," it means that a lot of people in that place where Jesus was believed in Him. They trusted Him and believed that He was the Son of God who came to save them.

Imagine if you had a special friend who always helped you when you were sad or scared. You would believe in them and trust them, right? That's what it was like for the people who met Jesus. They saw the amazing things He did and heard His loving words, so they believed in Him with all their hearts.

Just like those people, we can also believe in Jesus and trust Him. We can pray to Him, talk to Him, and know that He is always with us, guiding us and loving us. When we believe in Jesus, our hearts are filled with joy and peace because we know that He is our Savior and our friend forever.

Kid's Story

Once upon a time, in a cozy village, there was a little squirrel named Sammy. Sammy loved to climb trees and explore the forest. One day, he overheard the other animals talking about a kind and loving lion who lived nearby.

Curious, Sammy decided to visit the lion. The lion welcomed Sammy with a warm smile and gentle eyes. Sammy felt safe and loved in the lion's presence. He listened to the stories the lion shared about helping others and showing kindness to everyone.

After spending time with the lion, Sammy felt something special in his heart. He believed in the lion and his message of love. Sammy ran back to the village and told all the animals about the kind lion. Soon, many animals came to meet the lion and believed in him too.

Just like Sammy and the animals believed in the lion, many people in the village believed in Jesus when they saw His love and kindness. And that's how love and faith can spread from heart to heart.
