Imagine you are watching a magic show with lots of people. The magician does something so amazing that everyone in the audience is surprised and excited. In the Bible verse, it's like when Jesus did something incredible, and all the people watching Him were amazed. They started to wonder if Jesus could be a special person called the Son of David.

The Son of David is a way to say that Jesus is a very important person, like a king from a long time ago that God promised to send to help His people. The people were so amazed by Jesus' miracles and teachings that they thought He might be the special Son of David they were waiting for.

Just like when you see something really cool and wonder how it's possible, the people in the Bible verse were amazed by Jesus and started to think He might be someone very special sent by God. Craft or Activity

One fun craft activity to help children understand and remember the message of Matthew 12:23 is to create a "Son of David" crown. Provide the children with pre-cut crown shapes made of paper or foam. Let them decorate their crowns with markers, stickers, glitter, and other craft materials.
