Explanation

In this verse, a king made a very sad and scary decision to have a man named John killed. The king sent someone to cut off John's head. This is a very sad and frightening thing that happened.

We can learn from this story that sometimes people make bad choices and do mean things to others. But even when bad things happen, we can always trust God to take care of us and love us no matter what.

It's important to remember that God is always with us, even when things are tough. Just like how a lighthouse guides ships safely to shore in a storm, God guides us and keeps us safe through difficult times. So we can always talk to Him and ask for help when we are feeling scared or sad.
