Lesson: John 6:35 (Ages 9-11)
📖 John 6:35 – Ages 9-11
Explanation
Jesus is like the most delicious bread you can imagine. When Jesus says He is the bread of life, He means that just like bread fills your tummy and makes you feel full and happy, Jesus fills your heart and makes you feel complete and joyful.
When we come to Jesus, it's like eating this special bread that never runs out. We won't feel hungry or thirsty in our hearts because Jesus gives us everything we need to be truly happy and satisfied inside.
So, just like we eat bread to make our tummies full, we can come to Jesus to make our hearts full of love, peace, and joy. He is the most important thing we need in our lives to feel truly happy and content.
Kid's Story
Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a little squirrel named Sammy. Sammy loved to collect acorns and nuts, but one day, he couldn't find any food. Feeling hungry and tired, he met a kind rabbit who offered him a piece of delicious bread.
Sammy took a bite and felt instantly full and satisfied. The rabbit smiled and said, "Just like this bread fills your tummy, Jesus fills our hearts with love and joy. He is the bread of life, and when we believe in Him, we will never be spiritually hungry or thirsty again."
From that day on, Sammy remembered the lesson he learned and shared his bread with other animals in need. He understood that true fulfillment comes from believing in Jesus, who provides for all our needs.
