Explanation

In this verse from the Bible, a man named Jairus comes to see Jesus. Jairus was an important leader in the church. He was very worried because his daughter was very sick and he wanted Jesus to come and help her.

Imagine if you had a friend who was very sick, and you asked your mommy or daddy to help them feel better. Jairus felt the same way about his daughter. He knew that Jesus could help her, so he went to Jesus and asked Him to come to his house.
