Lesson: Matthew 11:6 (Ages 3-5)

📖 Matthew 11:6 – Ages 3-5

Explanation

This Bible verse is like a loving reminder from Jesus. He wants us to know that when we believe in Him and follow Him, even when things get hard, we are blessed. Imagine you are walking on a path, and Jesus is with you, holding your hand. Sometimes, the road might be bumpy, and you might want to stop walking. But Jesus says, "Don't worry, I am here with you. Keep going, and you will be okay." So, when we trust Jesus and keep going, even when it's tough, we are truly blessed because He is always by our side, helping us not to stumble.

Kid's Story

Once upon a time, there was a little squirrel named Sammy who loved to climb trees and play outside. One day, Sammy's friend, a bunny named Bella, wanted to hop on the branches too.

Sammy warned Bella, "Be careful, the branches can be slippery. Watch out so you don't fall!"

But Bella was too excited and didn't listen. She started hopping from one branch to another, but soon slipped and tumbled to the ground.

Sammy helped Bella up and said, "It's important to listen and be careful. Just like how we need to listen to Jesus and not stumble because of Him. He wants to keep us safe and happy."

From that day on, Bella learned to be more careful and to trust Sammy's advice, just like we can trust Jesus to guide us safely on our journey.

Prayer Prompt

Dear God, thank you for helping us not to stumble because of You. Please guide our steps and help us to trust in You always. Amen.
