Lesson: Revelation 2:23 (Ages 3-5)

📖 Revelation 2:23 – Ages 3-5

Explanation

In this Bible verse, God is saying that He knows everything about us, even our thoughts and feelings. He sees deep inside our hearts.

Imagine if you have a special friend who knows you really well. They know when you are happy, sad, or scared without you even saying a word. That's how God knows us too, but even better!

When God says He will "give to each of you according to your works," it means that He sees the good things we do and the not-so-good things. He wants us to be kind, helpful, and loving to others.

Just like how parents may give rewards or consequences based on how their children behave, God also wants us to do good things. He loves us so much and wants us to be the best versions of ourselves.

So, let's always try to be kind and loving, because God sees everything we do and wants us to choose kindness and love.

Kid's Story

Once upon a time, there was a little rabbit named Rosie who loved to hop and play in the sunny meadow. One day, she found a beautiful garden filled with colorful flowers. Rosie couldn't resist taking a nibble, even though she knew she wasn't supposed to.

Suddenly, a wise old owl named Oliver appeared and gently said, "Rosie, it's important to follow the rules and be honest." Rosie felt guilty for not obeying. But she apologized and promised to do better.

Oliver explained that just like how God knows our thoughts and actions, we should always try to do what is right. Rosie learned that being truthful and kind is the best way to show love to others.

From then on, Rosie hopped through the meadow, remembering to be honest and do good deeds, just like the Bible teaches us.

He knows our thoughts, He's always near.
He sees our hearts, He knows our deeds,
And rewards us all for good works, indeed!
