Colossians 4 (NMV)

Chapters: 1 2 3 4

Masters, treat your servants with what is right and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Devote yourselves to prayer, stay alert in it with thanksgiving.

At the same time, pray also for us, that God will open a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am imprisoned,

so that I may make it clear, as I must do.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of every opportunity.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer each person.

Tychicus, our dearly loved brother, a faithful servant and fellow slave of the Lord, will tell you all the news about me.

I am sending him to you for this very purpose: so that you may know how we are and so that he may encourage your hearts.

He is coming with Onesimus, a faithful and dearly loved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you everything that is happening here.

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas, about whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him,

and Jesus who is called Justus. These alone of the circumcised are my coworkers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

I can testify about him that he works hard for you, and for those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis.

Luke, the dearly loved doctor, and Demas greet you.

Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church that meets in her house.

After this letter has been read among you, have it read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea.

And tell Archippus, "See to it that you complete the ministry you received in the Lord."

I, Paul, am writing this greeting in my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
