Titus 2 (NMV)

Chapters: 1 2 3

But you are to speak what is fitting for sound, uncorrupted teaching.

Older men are to be clear-minded, dignified, self-controlled, uncorrupted in faith, in love, and in endurance.

In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not malicious accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is good,

so that they may train the younger women to love their husbands and children,

to be self-controlled, pure in heart and body, keepers of the home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be dishonored.

Likewise, encourage the younger men to be self-controlled in everything.

Show yourself in all respects to be an example of good works, with integrity in your teaching, dignified manner,

and healthy, uncorrupted speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed, having nothing flawed or corrupt to say about us.

Servants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,

not stealing, but showing complete trustworthiness, so that in everything they may display the beauty of the teaching about God our Savior.

For the grace of God has shined upon us, bringing salvation to all people,

instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age of moral corruption.

while we wait for the blessed confident expectation, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

who gave Himself for us, to set us free from all defiance of God's law by paying the full ransom, and to purify for Himself a people set apart as His treasured possession, zealous to do what is good.

Speak these things, encourage and expose with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
