corinthians 16 (NMV)
Now concerning the collection for the believers who belong to Christ in Jerusalem: Do the same as I instructed the churches of Galatia.
On the first day of the week, each of you should set aside a portion of your income in keeping with what you have earned, saving it up, so that when I come, no collections will need to be made.
Then, when I arrive, I will send those you approve with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem.
And if it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me.
I will come to you after I pass through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia,
and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may help me on my journey wherever I go next.
For I do not want to see you now just in passing. I hope to stay with you for a while, if the Lord allows.
But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost,
because a wide door of effective work has opened to me, even though there are many who oppose me.
Now if Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am.
Therefore, no one should look down on him. Send him on his way in peace so that he may come to me, for I am expecting him along with the other brothers.
Now concerning our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers, but he was unwilling to go now. He will come when he has the opportunity.
Be alert, stand firm in the faith, act like adults, be strong.
Let everything you do be done in love.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to serving the believers,
to submit yourselves to people like them, and to everyone who joins in the work and labors with them.
I am glad that Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus have come, because they have made up for your absence.
For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Therefore, give recognition to such people.
The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, along with the church that meets in their home.
All the brothers and sisters greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
This greeting is in my own handwriting, Paul.
If anyone does not love the Lord, let them be under God's judgment. Come, Lord!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
