Ephesians 3 (NMV)

Chapters: 1 2 3 4 5 6

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles [non-Jews],

Surely you have heard about the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you,

that the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.

In reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ.

This mystery was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

that the Gentiles [non-Jews] are co-heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the good news.

I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace, which was given to me through the working of His power.

To me, the least of all the believers who belong to Christ, this grace was given: to proclaim to the Gentiles the immeasurable riches of Christ,

and to make plain to everyone the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things.

This was so that now, through the church, the multi-faceted wisdom of God might be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

according to the eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In Him and through faith in Him we have boldness and confident access to God.

So I ask you not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,

from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

may have strength to comprehend with all the believers who belong to Christ what is the width and length and height and depth,

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us,

to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
